Honouring the timeless talents and sake brewing expertise of Ishikawa's distinguished Noto brewers over 250 years, Sogen Shuzo's Samurai sake series invites you to indulge the delicately crisp and rich, umami qualities of its finest junmai sake. The crowning "prince" of the series, this award-winning sake is made purely from Hyogo's highest grade of Yamada Nishiki rice and the soft springwaters of the Kurofumi mountains, using long-established techniques to skillfully build a complex array of sweet flavours into its lusciously refined mouthfeel. Finely milled to 55%, the Yamada Nishiki rice offers freshly-steamed rice notes with creamy hints of chocolate and caramel on the nose, giving each sip of this junmai sake a striking decadence worthy of its much-celebrated, dry finish.
