Through their meticulous brewing of 60% polished sake rice, Iwanoi Shuzo produces an exquisite tokubetsu junmai sake with a pleasantly fruity and refreshing flavour palate. Brewed locally in Iwate Prefecture, the naturally sweet, undiluted base of this junmai sake is so carefully balanced and refined, it can be readily filtered and bottled without fortification. With enough acidity and umami depth for you to indulge in its subtle melon and banana notes, this junmai sake is best served warm or at room temperature, especially when enjoyed alongside tender fish and seafood dishes.
