Specially made using old style sake brewing techniques of Kochi prefecture to produce an extra dry karakuchi junmai sake, this exceptionally crisp and rich tasting sake not only perfectly compliments food, but also carries plenty of character within its fragrant, umami palate. The nostalgic dryness of this 60% milled junmai sake leads your taste buds to appreciate its pleasant acidity and subtle alcohol sweetness, harmonising its heavy, creamy rice notes with the lighter, grassy aromas of its refreshing nose. Well-balanced, with both a deep body and light taste that neither overpowers or diminishes its sharp, satisfying finish, this tokubetsu junmai is best savoured chilled or at room temperature, with tender tofu, sashimi or seafood dishes.
